From clicking "request payout" to funds actually landing, there's an internal review process most traders never see the details of. Understanding it removes a lot of the anxiety around why some payouts process faster than others.
The Review Steps
- 1. Automated rule check — confirms the account is in good standing against all applicable rules (drawdown, consistency, minimum trading days) before anything moves to manual review
- 2. Manual trade review — a review desk checks for anything the automated check might not flag, such as unusual execution patterns
- 3. Approval and processing — once cleared, the payout moves to the relevant payment method for disbursement
- 4. Funds settlement — timing from here depends entirely on the payment method chosen, not on anything internal
Why Some Payouts Take Longer
The single biggest variable isn't our internal process — it's the payment method's own settlement timeline, which is entirely outside our control once a payout is approved. Trading patterns that require closer manual review (unusually large single trades relative to account history, for instance) can also add time before approval, which is a separate step from the settlement itself.
- Choose a payment method with a settlement timeline that matches your expectations before requesting a payout, not after
- Keep account documentation and verification up to date — an incomplete KYC file is one of the most common causes of delay
- Contact Support directly if a payout is taking noticeably longer than the stated typical window for your chosen method
